We recently received an urgent call about a tiny, sick kitten found on the streets of Brooklyn. This poor little one was discovered emaciated, desperately trying to survive by eating a dead bird in the middle of the road. His situation was dire—one of his eyes was so severely infected that it was bulging out, ready to burst. We immediately rushed him to an emergency vet, where he was stabilized and then brought into our rescue.
The next day, we named this brave kitten Biscuit because, despite all his pain, he still managed to knead his new warm bed with his tiny paws, making "biscuits" as if to show his gratitude. Biscuit was then taken to our surgeon, where his infected eye had to be enucleated. Despite everything he’s been through, Biscuit is such a sweet and loving little guy, and we’re thrilled to welcome him into our Feral to Family/Catpurrccinos family!
Biscuit’s journey is far from over, but he’s already captured our hearts and become a favorite. The cost of his medical care has exceeded $3,500, but this is why we do what we do—to save lives, one precious animal at a time, and to find them the loving homes they deserve.
We can’t do this without you. Your generosity makes our mission possible, and it’s because of you that we can give kittens like Biscuit a second chance at life. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for being a part of our family and for supporting our cause.
